Join us for Global Green Action Day 2025 – a hands-on, collaborative experience where professionals unite across online and on-site events to tackle real sustainability challenges submitted by forward-thinking organisations.
This isn’t just another conference. It’s a coordinated Action Day designed to transform insight into tangible impact. You’ll apply your knowledge and experience of sustainability-driven innovation, regulation, decarbonisation and circular economy, and AI for sustainability to real-world cases from businesses, public institutions, and NGOs – and discover how to transfer these insights into action within your own organisation and role.
Agenda
🕘 Morning Session (09:00–12:00 CET) – Online Participation Only
Participants who choose to attend the Action Day online will join a live, interactive session featuring expert input, team-based challenge solving, and collaborative tools. With the challenge brief and team formation completed in advance, teams will be ready to hit the ground running and co-create actionable solutions.
🕐 Afternoon Session (13:00–17:00 local time) – In-Person Participation Only
Participants who choose in-person participation will meet at one of our local hubs to collaborate face-to-face in multidisciplinary teams. With the challenge brief and team formation completed in advance, teams will be ready to hit the ground running and co-create actionable solutions.

Morning session 09:00-12:00 CET. For those unable to attend in person, a full online participation pathway is available in the morning.
📝 Once you complete the mandatory training, you will be asked to select whether you will join online or at a local hub, and you will be placed in a team accordingly.
What Will Happen
This is the day we take action. Participants will work in teams to tackle real-world challenges submitted by businesses, public institutions, and NGOs. These are not abstract case studies—they are pressing, practical problems that require bold thinking, diverse perspectives, and actionable solutions.
Each team will be formed in advance, with participants receiving details about their assigned challenge ahead of time—so they can come prepared to contribute meaningfully and make an impact.
Throughout the day, you’ll not only co-create solutions but also explore how to apply the insights gained to your own organisation, projects, and professional role.
How to Join
To take part in Global Green Action Day, participants must first complete the asynchronous online training consisting of 12 hours covering:
– Innovation Strategy & Regulation
– Circular Economy & Decarbonization
– AI for Sustainability
🎓 Training is self-paced and must be completed between the 21st of April to June 2, 2025.
