Global Green Action Day is more than just an event—it’s a movement to turn sustainability challenges into real-world innovative solutions.
On June 5, 2025, changemakers across industries will gather in Portugal, Austria, Sweden, and online to collaborate on pressing sustainability issues. But here’s the twist: participation isn’t just about showing up. Attendees must first complete an online, self-paced training program covering innovation strategy, circular economy, and AI for sustainability. This ensures that everyone arrives ready to take action.

The Global Green Action Day brings change-makers in innovation, sustainability, and AI together to tackle plastic pollution. We will meet: online, in Sweden, in Austria, and in Portugal.
Learn Online: During the spring, dive into sustainability regulations, business strategies, circular economy, and AI through interactive content and expert panels.
Collaborate on Action Day: On the 5th of June, apply your knowledge to create real-world solutions.

Who is this for?
Global Green Action Day is for those working in the world of sustainability and innovation, in both the private or public sectors.
From on-the-ground teams and project leads to department heads and middle management, it’s designed for changemakers driving transformation within their organisations.
We also welcome, policy makers, experts from academia, NGOs, consultants, community leaders and thought-leaders to bring diverse perspectives, and enrich the dialogue.
Compulsory time commitment: 7,5 hours training + 4 hours at Action Day.
