A cigarette, contrary to what many people think, is very harmful to the environment. Peukenzee raises awareness among smokers, provides practical solutions, and gives inspiring “Peukentalks” to help ensure that people stop throwing their cigarette butts on the street. Peukenzee does this in collaboration with companies, offices, events, and municipalities.
In addition to keeping cigarette filters off the ground, Peukenzee is now also collecting these filters to recycle them. A large supply is needed for this, and we could really use your help!
DJ100 stands for Duurzame Jonge 100 (Sustainable Young 100). Each year, a jury selects the one hundred most inspiring young sustainability leaders in the Netherlands. It’s a diverse group of young entrepreneurs, professionals, and students who are making a positive impact. Every year, the most sustainable young changemakers are featured in a list to inspire the next generation. In addition to a spot on the list, DJ100 offers an active network and a kickstart of opportunities to connect, accelerate, and scale the initiatives of these young people—helping them generate even greater impact.
