Pia Heidenmark Cook was named a top 10 female sustainability leader by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) in 2018 and among the top 5 influencers on the climate change agenda by The Climate Group. Pia served as Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) for Ingka Group/IKEA from 2017 to 2021, guiding the world’s leading home furnishing retailer toward ambitious people and planet goals. During her tenure, IKEA succeeded in growing its business while reducing its absolute value-chain carbon footprint.

Today, Pia is a senior advisor to Ingka Group/IKEA and serves on the boards of various nonprofit and for-profit organizations across diverse industries. She is a frequent keynote speaker on sustainability and business transformation, drawing on her extensive background in environmental management and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
